We strongly recommend incorporating omega oils into your cat’s diet for these reasons.
Why do cats require taurine in their diets?
Taurine is an amino acid that supports the function of the cardiovascular, nervous, and musculoskeletal systems while playing a key role in the production of bile salts, essential for the digestion and absorption of fats. Unlike dogs, taurine is essential for cats, as they lack the specific enzyme needed to convert the amino acid cysteine into taurine. Without enough taurine in their diet, cats can develop serious health issues, including blindness, heart disease, and even death.
